Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2
We get a brand-new ritual weapon every season, and season 16 is no different. Now, the Reckless Endangerment in Destiny 2 is a legendary lightweight frame shotgun that goes in your kinetic slot. This is very easy to use, and when you have it equipped, you move faster. In terms of legendary traits, it has full choke. Full choke tightens the barrel and reduces projectile spread when aiming down sights at the cost of precision damage.

This is in addition to the salt mag you use for quick combat. It can also make you much more stable and increases your rate of fire by a lot. Now we have double perks in the third and fourth columns. We have “Perpetual motion,” which means that the weapon gets better at handling stability and reloading while the person using it is moving.
This is in addition to steady hands, which makes it easier to use all weapons for a short time after a kill. And in the last column is “Swashbuckler,” which makes the weapon do more damage when you use it to kill someone or when you use it to kill someone else. Along with snap sights, where you can aim down sights more quickly.
Perks and More
Now uniquely on this weapon, you have the basic origin traits as well, one for each of the playlists in the game. The Perk of Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2 are:
Vanguard’s Vindication
We have Vanguard’s Vindication, where final blows with a weapon grant a small amount of health.

One Quiet Moment
We have the one quiet moment, which grants increased reload speed when you’re out of combat.

Invader Tracker
Finally, we have an invader tracker, where damaging the invader with the weapon marks them for your allies.

Now That perk combination is a very good shotgun for both PVP and PVE. A simple melee kill will give you fire swashbuckler times, allowing the shotgun to do incredible damage. As for the crucible, you’ve got perpetual motion and snapshot sights. They make a very snappy fast, firing shotgun that will often see you come out on top in those one-to-one engagements. So that’s what Reckless Endangerment is.
How to get Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2
But how do we get our hands on this incredible shotgun? I am going to tell you in details.
- To unlock this weapon, you’ll need to upgrade one of the ritual vendors, Commander Zavala, The Drifter, or Lord Shax, over in the tower.
- Now, you can earn the Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2 via rank 16 for either of these vendors. Everyone can earn all the reputation for these vendors via their applicable playlist, whether that be Gambit, The Crucible, or Vanguard operations.
- One of the possible options is running Mayhem over in a crucible. This is one of the shortest game modes available in the rotator, and as a result, it will allow for some quick crucible ranks. Now, while this is fast, other ways are available in the game.
Optimal Route to Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2
The most optimal route to your path to Reckless Endangerment Destiny 2 will change weekly depending on where the bonus rank buff is being applied. Now, as of the writing of this article, the buff is being applied to the Vanguard operations playlist. You’ll be able to identify it with the icon you see here, which means that any XP you earn throughout the playlist will be double the normal amount.
Now while the double XP is being applied to the Vanguard operations, it isn’t being applied to the playlist itself. You can get double XP just by running the Nightfall. Now the Nightfall as of the making of this video is The Arms Dealer strike, it’s arguably one of the shorter Nightfalls available this season, and you can select this on absolutely any difficulty. Now, as all the Vanguard XP is granted to you at the end of the activity. It’s really about completing these as fast as possible, so there’s no need to run this on the hardest difficulty as you’ll simply be seeking more time without gaining any additional rewards.
