Hey, fellow Destiny 2 fanatics! You know that tricky Memory Alembic quest in The Witch Queen? Yeah, that one. It’s got more steps to it than a Vex timegate, right? Well, don’t sweat it. We’re gonna tackle this quest together.
First things first, you’re gonna need to be best buds with Fynch. Why? Because you gotta unlock Deepsight 2 to even think about completing this quest. So, grab your controller, load up on snacks (my go-to is Doritos, what’s yours?) and get ready to grind.
The Quest for Qualichor
Now onto the fun part. You know those shiny gauntlets you’ve been eyeing? You’re gonna need some Qualichor to get ’em. I know, I know, it’s like hunting for exotics in the Crucible sometimes. But hey, it’s all part of the journey, right? And the best part? Knocking out this quest gets you one step closer to those sweet, sweet Throne World Triumphs. Who doesn’t love a good victory lap?

How to get to Memory Alembic in Destiny 2
Firstly, you gotta find yourself a Qualichor. It’s like the golden ticket to this quest. So, how do you get it? Easy peasy. You just gotta buff up Fynch, our adorable little alien friend, in the Throne World. Give him some TLC, and he’ll unlock the Deepsight 2 ability for you. It’s like leveling up your Pokemon to learn a new move.
Now the fun begins. Once Deepsight 2 is unlocked, you’ll start seeing new Deepsight nodes popping up. Think of them as hidden Easter eggs. Some of these nodes will reveal a Scorn corpse. I know, it sounds gross, but bear with me.
Interact with this corpse, and voila, you’ll see a green, glowing trail. It’s like a neon breadcrumb path leading you to your destiny (pun intended). Follow this trail, and you’ll find yourself face-to-face with a boss. Beat him, and you can claim your prize: a chest loaded with the precious Qualichor.
Quagmire Deepsight

We’re going on a little trip to a cave. Not just any cave, though. We’re headed to the main cave, way up north, with a killer view of the chasm. It’s like the Grand Canyon of Destiny 2!
Once you’re there, you gotta interact with the Deepsight node. It’s like picking up a power-up in Mario. When you do, a Scorn body will pop up. Gross, I know, but it’s all part of the game.

Now, don’t just stand there gawking at the body. Look to the right! See that? That’s your path. It’s like the yellow brick road, only it’s not yellow, and there’s no singing munchkins.
That path is gonna lead you into something called the Alluring Curtain. Sounds mysterious, doesn’t it? Like the entrance to a secret level.
Fluorescent Canal Deepsight
Okay, Guardians, time to hit up our next location. We’re heading straight to the heart of the Florescent Canal. You know that funky open-walled structure smack dab in the middle of the area? Yep, that’s our destination. It’s like a massive, alien gazebo!

Once you’re in, look around. See that dead Scorn chilling in the corner? I know, it’s like finding a hidden Easter egg in a corner of a Call of Duty map. But that’s our next clue. When you investigate the scorn corpse in the Fluorescent canal, you will see a green trail will appear.
Follow the trail, and you will come across “Investigate Debris.” After you investigate the Debris, keep following the path.

Now, hold onto your helmets because this is where things get spicy! This path we’re on? It’s leading us straight into the Queen’s Bailey. That’s right, the place where the legendary Lightblade Strike goes down.
Remember, you must fight a mini-boss and capture the core when it’s down. Otherwise, it will respawn again, and again, and again. Now, you can only do this once a day. I have tried to do this twice, but it shows, ” You may investigate more tomorrow.”

Miasma Deepsight
We’re headed to the Miasma zone of Savathun’s Throne World. It’s like stepping into a freaky alien jungle, but don’t worry, we’re in this together.
Once you’re in Miasma, take a sharp right. It’s like taking the first turn in a maze – you never know what you’ll find! You should end up in the same spot as shown on the map above.
Activate the Deepsight
Now, check out the nearby Deepsight. It’s like your own personal detective mode, Batman style! Use it to spot the Scorn corpse. Give it a good look, it’s your next clue.

Follow the Green Goop
We’re gonna follow a green, goopy path. Yes, it’s as weird as it sounds. But at the end of this bizarre path, you’ll find a scannable pile of debris. Inspect it like it’s a clue in a Phoenix Wright case.
After that, you’re off to the races!
The quest will whisk you away to a variety of locations inside the Witch’s Echo zone. Keep following the green path until you bump into a Lucent Hive.

Final Step
Don’t lose the green trail, though. It sticks to the ground, so if you get lost, you can always backtrack to find it again. It’s like a game of Snake, only way cooler!
Finally, it’s time to face off against the Lucent Hive. Show them what you’re made of, Guardian! Once they’re down, they’ll drop a chest. Loot it like it’s the last chest in a dungeon crawl. Inside, you’ll find your prize – the coveted Qualichor item.

Memory Alembic Destiny 2 Quest
Now that you’ve picked up the quest, it’s time to embark on a wild hunt for more Qualichor. It’s like going on a treasure hunt in Uncharted, but instead of gold, we’re after a peculiar substance to create Refined Qualichor.
Our targets? The Lucent Brood Executioners. Think of them as the ‘Ender Dragons’ of Destiny 2. The catch is, you can only slay one of these bad boys a day per account. Yep, it’s a slow burn, but hey, who said being a Guardian was easy?
But wait, there’s more! You can also hunt down Inquisitors, but brace yourself, they’re tough cookies to find and even tougher to beat. It’s like a legendary raid boss hiding in a secret level!
Each day, taking down one Executioner and a handful of Inquisitors will net you about 25 percent progress. It’s a grind, sure, but think of it as a daily quest in World of Warcraft. And check this out: slay three Executioners, and you’ll unlock the Ascendant Bounty Hunter Triumph. Talk about leveling up!

Once you finish filling up the progress bar, go back to Fynch to receive your Refined Qualichor, which is like trading in all your XP for a power-up. Use it to open the Executioner’s Hoard. The location of the hoard changes, requiring players to locate and defeat three Inquisitors, their lieutenants, and then three Lightbearer Hive enemies, making it a multi-stage boss fight.

Inquisitor Hunt
The next part of the Memory Alembic quest and Qualichor collection is all about hunting down Inquisitors. It’s like playing a game of ‘Where’s Waldo?’, but with space monsters. And listen up, these events happen randomly and have a strict time limit. It’s like a speedrun challenge, only a bit more chaotic!
Every day, the Inquisitors spawn in different locations. Hang around each major area, and also keep an eye out for a message saying “Lucent Hive Inquisitors in your sector”. If you see it, it’s game time!
Here are a couple of known Inquisitor spawn points:
- Quagmire: Head east. You’ll find them in the doorway leading to the Florescent Canal. It’s like stumbling upon Bowser’s Castle in Super Mario.
- The Miasma is located on the western side, near the start of the Vow of the Disciple raid. It has a similar appearance to a boss battle room in a Zelda dungeon.
The Executioner’s Hoard

After obtaining the Refined Qualichor, players can access the Executioner’s Hoard, which is similar to unlocking a bonus level in Sonic. The chest is located once the Inquisitor group has been defeated and the reward chest has been collected.
Additionally, behind the reward chest, you’ll see a Deepsight node. Interact with it like it’s a power-up in Metroid, and follow the trail to the spiky Hive chest. Moreover, you will receive the Executioner’s Hoard Triumph and a piece of Legendary gear, which is a significant reward comparable to defeating the final boss.
Want to bag the Gumshoe Title and the Ascended Bounty Hunter Triumph in Destiny 2? It’s all about completing a task not once, not twice, but three times in each key area. Think of it like a trilogy of epic challenges.
Overall
In Destiny 2, the Triumph is the Ascended Bounty Hunter. To get the Gumshoe title, players must find the Memory Alembic and open the Executioner’s Hoard three times, once in each of the main places.
The Memory Alembic quest in Destiny 2 requires a significant amount of time and presents a moderate level of difficulty. The movement of the Executioners and Inquisitors during the quest can become repetitive.
After successfully completing the quest and obtaining the Executioner’s Hoard, you will make progress towards obtaining the Title.
Memory Alembic is a key that can open the Season of the Last Triumph. Players can start the quest to unlock the Season’s Triumphs by finishing the Memory of the Lost mission. After the mission, you will get the Alembic.
These can include the Executioner’s ability to make the player grab famous gear. Also, the sheer number of times their tactics are strengthened. Overall, this gift gave players a huge boost with the latest patch of “Witch Queen Expansion.” It made the game harder and more fun, and it took the players longer to lose their skills as they played.
The Memory Alembic quest is a long and tough one, no doubt about it. However, completing this challenging Destiny 2 quest, known as the Executioner’s Hoard, will bring you closer to unlocking the Title. Prepare yourself for an exciting journey ahead.
